It doesn't seem to have any negative effect but I've owned them less than an hour at this point as well. I'm not sure if this is an intended feature to give it more "snap" when it fires or if I just got an oddball. Basically, it sounds like the hammer portion is trying to retract further back than it's supposed to sit. Spinning up the saw itself doesn't cause anything to happen. And I've noticed SawBlaze makes a strange noise virtually any time you drive with it, be it straight/back or steering, and after using the hammer-saw. Regardless, of course I was eager to test them just to see how they drove and the weapon power, etc. I'll save my thoughts on them for once the Arena Max arrives and I have someone to actually battle with.
