Some Windows 10 programs like the Edge browser are reported to have problems with Sandboxie too, but Chrome, Firefox, and Opera seem to work fine with Sandboxie. Sandboxie is known to have conflicts with services like Steam, GOG, Pidgin, PunkBuster, and several anti-virus programs. For example, there's a big list of known conflicts available on the Sandboxie website and most of the programs on that list require a nearly constant internet connection. While Sandboxie works excellent at isolating programs like browsers and email clients, it doesn't do so well with other programs that require feedback from the internet. In fact, the developers recently debuted the Windows 10 version of the software. Sandboxie has been around since the days of Windows XP, but it supports modern versions of Windows, too. It's available for $20.95 per year if you prefer the subscription model, but a lifetime license is available for $34.95. Sandboxie is designed to prevent that from happening by isolating programs like browsers and email clients to prevent malicious code from executing on your PC.

What's different is the user interface the Plus build has a modern Qt based UI which supports all new features that have been added since the project went open source. Both have the same core components, this means they have the same level of security and compatibility. Sandboxie is available in two flavors Plus and Classic.
